We recently had the opportunity to visit Castle Fun Park in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The park has been a cornerstone of family entertainment in the Fraser Valley since its opening in July 1989. Originally named “Wonderland Amusement Park,” it was rebranded in 1998 to avoid confusion with another amusement park in Ontario. The park features medieval-themed architecture, creating a whimsical castle-like atmosphere. Despite challenges, including significant flooding in November 2021 that led to a temporary closure, Castle Fun Park has demonstrated resilience—reopening on Canada Day 2022 with renewed energy and enhancements.
Today, the park offers a diverse array of attractions catering to all ages. Visitors can enjoy three uniquely themed 18-hole mini-golf courses: the underwater-themed Coral Sea, the jungle-inspired Jungle Adventure, and an outdoor course with scenic mountain views. Additional attractions include go-karts, bumper cars, a laser maze, bowling lanes, and a modern two-floor arcade boasting over 200 games. For younger guests, the Wonder Farm Kid Zone offers pint-sized rides and games, ensuring fun for the entire family.
