A: The linking of the units requires option 20 (station ID) to be set differently on each unit. If they have the same number the game will payout randomly, and cause random errors.

A: The Sart button switch can be verified through the "TEST" mode operation (SW5 on Main PCB). However, a more likely problem may be a short in the coin door harnessing (12V). Disconnect the P4 (coin door) harness from the main board, and then try pressing "START". If it works, then check for a short in the coin door harness or switch.

Q: Which display panel do I need for my game?
A: AR7001 (says SCORE) is for lanes produced prior to 2006 and AR7201 (says YOUR SCORE) is for games built since 2006.

Q: How do I tell if I have an IceBall 2005 or the original IceBall version?
A: Beginning in July 2005, with serial # ARE05#1621, there were several part changes made to IceBall. Games built prior to 2005 have a large fan on the mainboard. Original games use AR2009X, AR2009XR & AR2028X 3 pin sensors, while 2005 uses RB2009BX, RB2009CX and RB2009X 4 pin sensors.
